When we had started working on this house it had warn down and chipped paint on their T-111 wood siding. The homeowner liked the authentic look of wood siding but hated the fact the paint would chip frequently and there was additional maintenance needed to keep it working to its utmost potential. After speaking with the homeowner we came to the conclusion that there was one perfect solution to their siding needs and that was Hardie siding. James Hardie can mimic the natural look of wood while being fiber cement siding and holding far less maintenance than wood siding.
